R. R. Ian Hunter represented an industry-wide multi-employer bargaining association for over twenty-five years as its Executive Director and Chief Spokesman. In such capacity, he served as its chief negotiator during multiple national contract negotiations and acted the the employers’ Chairman of the industry bi-partite committees and the employer member of the Board of Arbitration.
Formulated and fashioned numerous Employee Handbooks and related personnel policies designed to comply with the myriad of ever changing and expanding employment and labor laws.

It is recognized as Michigan’s oldest continuous secular charity. Presently domiciled in Troy, MI at the Kilgour Scottish Centre, it continues to perform its charitable and educational activities as it has for over 166 years.
